1. Listen to your mom. She’s right.
2. Someday you will feel like yourself again. I promise.
3. Sleep when the baby sleeps. Really. Just chill out and take a nap.
4. Those early smiles are just gas. Someday they’ll smile for real at you, right after peeing all over you, the wall, changing table, and clean outfit. But you won’t care because those smiles are the BEST.
5. Enjoy it! They’re so little and sweet and demanding right now. Someday they’ll be big and bossy and even more demanding.
6. They’re loud sleepers. Like, real loud.
7. Trust your gut. You don’t have to put in a certain amount of time to earn your sixth-sense as a mom. That arrives the instant they start growing in your belly, so own it. Go ahead, be *that* mom – it’s your kid!
8. Go see your girlfriends and drink some wine. Talk about Zac Efron’s new muscles. Movie. Or both. Whatever.
9. Give that kid a pacifier! Let dad do the midnight feeding with a bottle and get some more sleep.
10. Stop googling everything and refer to #1.

I’d add “it’s ok for them to cry for a little bit”. Especially with three now, someone is not getting attention. I hated hearing it at first, but it’s not going to land them in therapy as an adult. You are doing great mama!
